Hello,I am Marrissa George. I am from the United Stated. I have lived in Okayama for 6 years, where I taught English primarily in junior high and elementary school　also with preschool visits. I am looking forward to joining the teaching team here at AIS. My background is teaching English in an academic setting.I really enjoy inspiring children for a life-long interest in studying and learning English. I love sports very much. in my free time, I also enjoy sewing, backing and photography.

皆さん、こんにちは！私の名前はマリッサ、ジョージと申します。アメリカのアラバマ州出身です。岡山が大好きで今まで6年間岡山に住んでいます。岡山では幼稚園から中学生までの生徒さんに英語を教えた経験があります。今年の10月からＡＩＳの教師として子供達と過ごせることをとても嬉しく思います。子供たちの生涯で英語学び、勉強する楽しさを感じるお手伝いができることが私の喜びです。趣味はスポーツ、ジョギング、裁縫、お菓子作りに写真です。

My name is Kurt, I come from Manchester, in England. I have been working at different kindergartens all around Okayama teaching the children english medias. My lesson involves Singing, Dancing, Reading, and Writing. And I really enjoy doing Art and Crafts with children. To see the children Singing and laughing and having fun is a real reward for me. I feel a great sense of satisfaction knowing that I am helping children into a brighter future. My hobbies and interests include Sports, Arts, Photography, Music, and Movies. I am excited to join the AIS team from this year.

私はイギリスのマンチェスター出身です。日本には2008年に来日しました。日本の幼稚園では子供に英語を教えていました。私のクラスでは歌や、ダンス、読書、工作などを通じて楽しんで英語を教えています。得に、子供達と工作や絵画をすることは私の得意な分野でもあります。子供たちが笑ったり、楽しんでいる姿をみると、私の楽しみです。又、子供たちの輝かしい未来への手助けができることを大変嬉しく思います。 趣味はスポーツ、絵画、写真、音楽、映画鑑賞です。

I worked at a pre-school for 2 years in Okayama. I taught mainly for 2 years old. Also, I taught 2-6 years old kids for 2 years at an international school in Yokohama. After that, I studied English for one year and studied Spanish in Spain for 3 month. There are countless things that kids taught me for all years. I would like to grow with children, and I would like to support children to have broad view of the world. My hobbies are drawing picture, hiking, and diving.

私は保育士として2年間、2歳児クラスの担任を岡山の保育園にてしていました。 又、横浜のインターナショナルスクールでは2年間2歳～6歳の子供たちに英語を教えました。その後英語スキルの向上のため、イギリスにて1年間半とメキシコではスペイン語の語学留学に3カ月行きました。　今までの保育経験の中で子供たちから教えてもらったことは数えきれません。これからもアブロードで子供たちと共に成長し、子供たちが将来英語を通じて広い視野を持てるお手伝いをしていきたいと思います。趣味は絵を描くことです。登山、ダイビングも好きです。

To study English, I stayed in Australia for one year. It　is　so　delightful　for　me　to　communicate　with　foreigh　people　in　English.　It　expands　my　horizons　so　much. During　my　stay　with　a　Australian　family,　I　took　care　of　thier　children　and　we　read　books　and　sang　songs　together.　Through　this　experience,　I　learned　that　being　able　to　use　English　as　a　tool　for　communication allows children to　understnad　someone　from　abroad　better.　Also,it　gives　them　a　chance　to　see　the　world　as　a　bigger　place. At AIS, I would like to help them to expand their world as they grow.

私は、オーストラリアで一年間留学しました。オーストラリアでは、英語を通して海外の人々とコミュニケーションをする楽しさを感じ、又その経験から自分の視野を広げることができました。ホームステイ先では、小さいお子様に絵本を読んだり、歌をうたったりしました。英語を使うことでより深く他人の意見を理解し、子供たちの人生が豊かになると思います。AISでは、子供達の成長を見守りながら、子供たちがたくさんのことに興味をもっていけるように手助けをしていきたいです。

I was born in Manchester, England. I taught adult learners in England and have been teaching business, conversation and kids in Japan for three years. I love Japanese culture and Japanese people. I really enjoy teaching English to Japanese people. I am a big samurai movie fan and hope that I can learn better Japanese to talk about those movies with my students and friends.

私はイギリスのマンチェスター出身です。イギリスで英会話を教えて、今は日本で会話からビジネス、Kidsレッスンを3年教えています。日本の文化そして日本人が大好きです。だから、日本の方に英語を教えるという仕事が大好きです。 『サムライ』映画の大ファンでもあるので、もっと日本語を勉強していつか生徒さんや日本人の友達と映画について日本語で話せる様になれたらなと思っています。
